Women’s Health: East Meets West 
Alternative Practices for Menstruation thru Menopause

Where: Yen Yoga & Fitness, Traverse City MI
When:  Friday, July 25th 1:30-4pm

There are many intertwining modalities to promote reproductive health, and regardless of your stage of life, all women can benefit.

  • Painful periods? This workshop will give you tools for realigning.
  • Pelvic Floor issues or organ prolapse? Learn non-surgical techniques to heal.
  • Trying or considering having children?  Set yourself up for success.
  • Learn how to use yoga as a tool, before you’re pregnant, and trimester-by-trimester.
  • Entering menopause? Learn techniques to help balance hormones.

Join Sarah Louisignau as we explore fresh approaches from the ancient Eastern wisdoms of Yoga & Ayurveda as they relate to women’s health and fertility.  From the West, we will play with Mayan Traditional Abdominal Massage and pepper in some modern anatomy and physiology.  Learn about the proper alignment of the uterus, and it’s emotional and physical effects on the body, the ways to practice yoga to boost your fertility, ease menstruation pain. It’s amazing how much our creative core governs our overall wellbeing.

Sarah is a CAPPA trained Doula, focusing on Yoga + Ayurvedic practices to serve her clients with ancient wisdoms. She also is an E-RYT Yoga Teacher, Thai Yoga massage therapist, Prenatal, Postnatal and Fertility Yoga specialist, Pelvic Empowerment advocate and has trained in Maya Abdominal Massage. You may come to training or workshop with Sarah as stranger, but you will leave with a feeling of long-time friends.
