Intro to Everyday Ayurveda

Ayurveda is known as “the knowledge of life” Ayur = life and Veda = wisdom / knowledge. It is the 5,000 year old sister science to yoga. Together Yoga & Ayurveda create a complete system to maintain well-being and health. Ayurveda is a system that brings yoga to daily life through choices, routines, and relationships.  Ayurveda reconnects us the elements all around us, encouraging harmonious coexistence within the environments we find ourselves.

In this workshop you will:

o   Learn about your unique constitution
o   Explore the Doshas: Vata, Pitta & Kapha
o   Routine, Diet and Lifestyle choices
o   Balance with new understanding of the Elements:
o   Earth, Water, Fire, Air & Ether
Join Sarah Lou to learn more about the ancient science of Ayurveda (eye-UR-veda) and how it can help each and every one of us in a different and unique way.  Truly, it’s the most practiced medical model on the planet for a reason – it is easy to use Ayurvedic wisdom to prevent disease, to treat with simple routines and diet, and to promote lasting health that is specific for YOU.
